Sneaky, Sneaky! Kalib's BIG 25 is coming!

Im trying to plan a surprise party for him. Wednesday night the 24th. I invited 14 people. So far 7 said yes and possibly 9. Getting excited, i've never thrown a surprise party and im hoping he likes it. Trying to be sneaky about it so SHH don't say anything to him! :) Love you guys, ill let ya know how it turns out!!

Halloween we ROCKED OUT!

Hey guys, on halloween Kalib and I decided to have a little get together us and a couple of our friends all dressed up like rockers and played rock back here are some pics :)

Tuesday Hike

I took a vacation day on the 13th since Kalib gets Tuesdays off and we went hiking at Punch Bowl Falls. It was awesome! The falls were so pretty. It was a 2 mile hike in and 2 miles out so just a sort little hike but amazing. You could stand on top of the waterfall and see the water flowing below you. Im glad we got out for a hike, it was nice. Here's a pic. This obviously is not a picture i took, but i do have pics of Kalib and i, i just need upload them. I also jumped in for a swim, the water was great.

Kalib's Cousin's Wedding!

In case you didn't hear we just got back from Kalib's cousin's wedding. Her name is Kaila and she is really nice. I believe she is in her mid 20's. Kalib and i dressed up, he looked good all spiffyed up :). This is a pic we took of the kalib's dad's side of the family. From left to right (Nichole, Rob, Cohen, Crystal, Mark, Aspyn, Kendall, Kalib, Becky, Grandma Hughes, Grandpa Hughes, Teresa, & Larry) Anyways the only thing else new is that we get to go see "The Last Airbender" for free on tues the 29th before it even hits theaters. I have some special promotion thing for 2 tickets. We have been following the cartoon for sometime hoping they would make a movie so we are super excited to go see it! Anyways I don't have myspace or facebook and half the time i don't get a chance to talk to some of you for awhile so ya you need to post! Love you guys!

Chip Foose!!!

Kalib and I stood in line for 6 hours waiting to get these pics and two signatures. I was sooo tired but it was well worth it! Chip is really cool he does anything for his fans because as tired as we were i knew he had it worse then us. Just standing and signing for hours. Funeral Day

I haven't updated in awhile. I really miss grandpa and im sorry i couldn't make it there. I wrote that poem so hopefully he knows how much i care!

On another note things are going good, it seems like my second job is slowing down and soon i will only be working there so i can't wait! It will be nice to actually have a night when i get off work. Kalib's job is good, his insurance kicked in and he got a raise. We will officially have caught up all our bills this week. Now we can focus on getting things paid off/down. Im really ready for summer, i'm hoping to make it up for Jen's bday but we'll see. Kalib and i haven't been doing much besides working. We've been trying new recipes for dinner and snack but that's about it. Hope all is well with you guys! i love you and miss you all!

UPDATE TIME!

Its not just me who needs to update this blog, this was suppose to be so we all can keep in touch better. So get on it, lol :)

Anyways Kalib and I are doing good so far. Things seem to be getting better but i don't want to get ahead of myself. He should be getting a raise at the end of February and i should have a new job. Yep a new job. Rob is finally starting his own business so i will be leaving with him at the end of the month. I'm really excited because i feel like its a better opportunity and not as stressful as the current situation. Outside of work things are going good, we just hung out with Jessica and Bryson our friends from the beach for Superbowl which was pretty fun. It also seems to be getting sunny out here so im sure Kalib and I will soon be taking advantage of the sun by making a few hiking trips.

My Birthday

Kalib is awesome!!! He got me a guitar, a really nice perfume called armani code and aday at the spa package. I can't believe how sweet and awesome at gift giving he is! Ill update u all when i can play a song im super excited about learning it, i attached a pic of it.

Good News!

Kalib got a full time job at a tire center. Hopefully things will start to look up. Everybody is wanting experience but he only has hard labor experience so it was hard to find something. He starts on the 30th of November, so i will let you all know how his first day goes.

His birthday is tomorrow! He turns 24 on the 24th. And then turkey day is coming up, i think Kalib and I are going to do our own thing this year. It will be nice just the two of us. Anyways we hope all is good with everyone else. We love you and miss you all.

HEY ALL!

No one has posted anything for awhile so i thought i would put something up here.

Kalib and I are doing good, We've been busy though. We just got back from a weekend at the beach with our friends. Kalib and Bryson went riding there dirt bikes and Jessica and I made announcements for her babyshower. Other than that nothing really new. Still annoyed at Kalibs friend Tyler for causing a bunch of stupid drama. I just want everyone to know that Kalib loves me alot and will always be there for me. He would not ever cheat on me expecially not with my sister that lives more then 600 miles away. I want to appologize to everyone for having to deal with it and reassure everyone that Kalib and I's relationship isn't going anywhere, we are both very much in love and have great communication. He is still and always will be part of our family i'm just glad this stupid thing is over because it got blown way out of proportion so thank you for calling Kalib so this could be settled. You all know him and know he wouldn't ever do that to me or our family so im glad you called him to get to the bottom of it.

And as for moving back yes we are still planning to we just are still trying to save up the money. We love you all and miss you!

Hiking to Waukeena Falls/ Fairy Falls/ Waukeena Springs and Multnomah!

We took a 5 mile loop from Waukeena Falls to Fairy Falls to Waukeena Springs and finally to Multnomah falls. I think we hiked a little further then the five mile loop just because we took extra trails for a bit. There are soo many trails on the hike, the route we took wasn't the only way to go. There were trails to Multnomah which is the one we did but there is also trails to Angels Rest, Devils Rest, Larch Mountain, or you can head back to Waukeena Falls. It was AWESOME! There were sooo many waterfalls along the way, you hike about 1/2 mile up and from there you pretty much are following streams that lead to bigger falls. There are also lots of spots to hop in a take a swim if you want. Kalib and i didn't come prepared to swim otherwise we would have but we had the dog with us and no swim gear. Anyways this is definitely a must see sight the next time any of you visit us we would like to take you there because the views are absolutely amazing, it is soo pretty up there. I included pics, sorry our camera isn't very good but hopefully you can get the idea of what it looks like. I think you all would love it!

To the left is further up the trail (it was hard to try to get these pic in the order we took them) It shows the trail to Waukeena Springs. Bottom Right is how close the water fall is, Kalibs hand was almost touching Waukeena Falls. This picture was on the bridge heading over the lower part of the falls.

This was towards the end of the hike, once we finally got to Multnomah the left hand pic is the view from the top. The sunset view on the right is about 1/2 mile up the trail. It was so pretty watching the sunset on the trial. (This was on Sat the 8th before we took alli with us)

This picture is of Waukeena Springs.(to the right) The bottom left is a picture of a snake that we saw, it was on our way to Angel's Rest, which is about half way on the 5 mile loop we took. We stopped at Waukeena Springs first and then started to go see Angel's Rest. It was quit a ways there 2.5 miles so we headed back, plus the fact that we saw a snake freaked me out a bit so i wasn't to thrilled about finishing the hike i was a little freaked out by it.

More falls, and the pic on the right is the top view of Multnomah Falls. I couldn't get that good of a view but you can at least see all the tiny cars at the bottom, which gives you a little idea on how far up we were. The whole trail has alot of switchbacks so you go up a couple hundred feet in a very short period of time.
